A film about stuttering
made by a stutterer.
Frédéric, a young stuttering law student, must pass his oral presentation for his final exam which takes place online. Confronted with his stuttering on a daily basis, he tries to find various solutions to get rid of it...

INTENTION
Why I made this movie?

"I find stuttering very cinematic. When you can't express yourself in words, only the image remains...Yet it is a subject very little treated in the cinema. ​ That's why I decided to make this short film based on real events and my experiences as a stutter. The freedom of expression is also a theme dear to my heart who advocates tolerance, listening to others, respect and dignity. The goal of the film "Between The Words" is to make the voice carry
to all those who can't take it..."

Certified and graduated with a Masters in Cinema at the Sorbonne Nouvelle. Since 2003, Farid has directed more than a dozen independent short films and commercials. His style is found in the register of dramatic comedy against a background of social satire. "BETWEEN THE WORDS" is his most personal film to date.
